4th of July in the Valley

June is beginning to wrap up and July is just around the corner. When temperatures begin to rise to 119 degrees we all seem to hibernate in the comfort of our air-conditioned abodes. We all begin to question why we live in Phoenix and if this heat is really worth the nice fall and winter. However, as July 4th comes closer we are reminded of one of the most amazing aspects of this city: the community. One of my favorite events on the 4th is the Arcadia 4th of July Parade. You can register to be in the parade or take your little ones and line the street.  This is a festive and family friendly way to begin your Independence Day celebration. For more information visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Arcadia-4th-of-July-Parade/49653222410. Another event in the valley for Independence Day is the Tempe Town Lake Festival. Complete with food trucks, games, prizes, and fireworks this event has something to entertain everyone in the family. Another event of fun for the 4th is the Freedom Wireless Fabulous Phoenix. This event has a mix of local performers as well as games and activities and of course fireworks. Whatever your plans may be for the 4th of July make sure to have a safe and fun night! Need a festive outfit? Pop into Muse for all of your red, white, and blue needs. We are happy to pick out an outfit perfect for any event. Cheers!
