Meet Our Muse Girl: Jess

Jessica is fast approaching her one year anniversary at Muse! She started as an intern, and when we saw how awesome she is, we just knew we had to keep her! A longtime lover of fashion and lifelong Phoenician, Jess embraces the easy, casual elegance of Southwest fashion with her own mix of boho babe-meets-little black dress. Jess builds her wardrobe by choosing quality basics every girl needs – classic tees, great jeans, and simple silhouettes. Then she layers on the jewels, maybe even a floppy hat, adds the occasional fun print or flirty skirt, and then comes the perfect shoes to finish it off.

When we asked her what her favorite part of working at Muse is, Jess said – without hesitation – that it’s the friends and family she has made here. Her answer to that question is as sweet as her pick for her favorite local spot – North Central Phoenix ice cream shop Churn. An eclectic mix of modernity and nostalgia, Churn is like an old time candy shop and an artisan ice creamery all rolled into one… with a cherry on top. Jess loves this local spot for its unconventional toppings and for her favorite ice cream flavor, Vietnamese coffee. She likes to top her scoop with something decadent and sweet like the chocolate crinkle cookie.

The spring trend she is most excited about is back-baring dresses and tops, like the cute LNA shift dress she is wearing in her photos. From the front: subtle, sophisticated, and demure. From the back: Ka-Pow-Wee!! Jess loves this trend because it accentuates a beautiful part of the body and can be accessorized in so many ways. It is comfortable and just the right amount of sexy.

So, take Jessica’s advice – pair a scoop out of Churn’s ice cream offerings with a flirty scoop back dress or top this spring. What could be sweeter?! Thanks for all your hard work Jess, we love you and your bubbly spirit!
